1983 is a year that anyone with a passion for two wheels knows very well, because it was when the most innovative model from Kawasaki was launched, the GPZ 900 R. New lines, new technologies and a new set-up that guaranteed excellent performance. All these qualities were the basis of a golden age for Kawasaki creations: the “Ninja” era began.

But it was with the arrival of “Top Gun” in theaters in 1986 that Tom Cruise and the Kawasaki – GPZ 900 R Ninja reached the peak of fame. A success that still remains in the hearts of enthusiasts and those who dream of riding one one day. 2014, 30 years after the success of the first Ninja model, the Japanese company overturned the lines and design of the time with a new must: the Ninja H2, definitively changing the motorcycle market of the time.

But the revolutions had just begun, because the return of a great classic once again upset the soul of bikers all over the world: in 2019, the trailer for “Maverick” was released, in which Tom Cruise appeared riding a Kawasaki Ninja H2.
